Shown on the runway in Sydney, Nicky Zimmermann’s new Resort ’22 collection imbues her free-spirited femininity with a vintage, jet-set glamour. Travel posters from the ’30s, ’40s, and ’50s by late Australian artist James Northfield appear as nostalgic prints, and bohemian head-turners spotlight raffia and trailing floral appliqués.
Cut from a sculpting stretch fabric, Zimmermann’s lightly padded bikini top has a balconette silhouette that’s fitted with boning for support and lift. Complete the set with the matching briefs.
